Alright, so the goal was to damage the enemy base. I do this by adding a box collider to the friendly base which is detectable using an Overlap Sphere when the enemy “detonates” inside the base.
For this to work the Friendly Base needs to be placed into a custom layer which I called Base, though it could be called anything, really.
The other super cool bit was stashing the last visited position in Enemy Movement. We can use this to find the average of the last position and the current position and setting off the explosion so that it appears that the base is being attacked.
